Including letter, 1 July 1813, Wadmalaw [Island, S.C.], from A[nne M.S.G.] Hart to "Dear and Rev.'d Sir.," relating an account of capture and kidnapping by privateers of her son William, Mr. Jenkins, and three African-American slaves while stranded aboard a schooner near Edisto Island, S.C.
